Output quality was a significant problem on a tension leveling line for one of our customers in Taiwan. Avtron Industrial Automation replaced Dynapar 62P foot-mounted encoders on the tension leveling line with Avtron M85 modular (no-bearing) encoders. The mill was able to improve quality through automatic extension control and all “off-gauge” product quality problems were eliminated.
