The DSR1 Isolator / Repeater from Avtron Encoders is an in-line signal converter that isolates and repeats signals, perfect for connecting encoders to controllers or receivers in the environment that require a long distance and isolated, clean signals. Thanks to optical isolation, ground loops are eliminated, ensuring clean, stable signals. It's compatible not only with Avtron Encoders but also with any sensor offering digital outputs.
Built for superior performance, the DSR1 supports a wide input voltage range (3 to 10V and 10 to 28V) and works with popular driver types, including differential line drivers, single-ended push-pull drivers, NPN, and PNP configurations. It accepts both single-ended and differential input signals from sensors with line driver or open collector outputs.
Multiple driver options make the DSR1 compatible with virtually every PLC or receiver on the market. Plus, its smart engineered circuitry provides controlled termination impedance, minimizing ringing and reducing both common-mode and differential-mode noise on your cables.
